The last time Maximum Penalty played the UK was in 1997. I was lucky enough to see them at CBs at a Farenheit 451 show somewhere around 2005. They were meant to do a euro tour sometime in the past couple of years, and the tour got cancelled. Not only that, but at the last minute it was announced the only show they would be doing was Full Force in Germany.. by which point it was too late to book anything.

I see tons of Max Pen shirts everywhere in the UK and on the mainland.

Someone fly them out. Will travel anywhere.

I went to hardcore fest a decade ago where 115 or something bands played. I watched the majority of bands, and the only ones that stuck out were the bands that were incredible and the bands that sucked. Death Threat was def the former. It was also the first time I ever saw them and to say that they blew me away would be a complete understatement. I came back to England and started raving about them to everyone that listened. To this day, they remain in my top 5 hardcore bands of all time and I desperately wish they would play Europe more.

Anyhow, this is from TIHC. I need to see them in 2013.
